- Confidence to Care
-
People in all types of situation can suffer illness or fall ill.
It doesn’t matter whether the injury or the illness is caused by the work they do, the sport they play or the
lifestyle they lead. What is important is that they receive immediate attention and that an ambulance is
called in serious cases. The H Club
offers fully accredited First Aid and First Aid at Work courses which deliver the latest in layperson emergency care in a flexible
format which will suit a range of personal circumstances. The
H Club makes CPR and first aid easy
to learn, giving you the confidence you need to respond in a medical emergency.
EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT, ENTERTAINING INSTRUCTION
Our innovative independent study method of delivery helps
you learn and remember more. This leading-edge method is flexible enough to accommodate many learning styles.
With independent study, your time with our instructor practitioner is focused
on skill development rather than lecture. Though our courses and materials lend themselves to independent
study, there are many different ways to learn. In some cases, a personal delivery in a workshop environment
offers its own advantages. You decide with our First Aid instructor practitioner which methods work best
for you.

WHAT TO BRING
ON COURSES
For courses such
as Manual Handling and First Aid you should wear older clothing (floor activities) and long trousers, long sleeved tops and
flat shoes. It´s always a good idea to bring a jumper and a fleece as some
people are warmer than others and it helps to keep everyone happy.
A
notepad and pen is always a good idea and as we never provide food, please bring some if you need some (in a cooler if required).
We always provide free drinks on the course; however if you want ´speciality´ drinks then please
bring them with you.
If you have any problems with
reading or mobility you have an obligation to let us know and reduce the physical participation as we cannot be held responsible
for exacerbating any injuries on courses as you must take all reasonable steps to protect your own health & safety. If
it hurts don´t do it. Having said that we can usually make some adjustments, so we are sure you will
enjoy your experience.
