The H Club Quality Statement

The H Club is committed to making Health and Wellbeing available to all sections of society in the UK. We want our clients to be confident in the service we offer.

 

Qualifications & Professional Associations 

All the practitioners and tutors who work in locations shown on our web-site are fully qualified in their field. Please ask them for more information about their qualifications and experience.

On our web-site you can see a list of tsome of the professional/insurance organisations which the practitioners belong to. Voluntary Regulation of therapists is undertaken by organisations outside our control; please ask your therapist for more information.

If you want to make a complaint about your practitioner you will need to take it up with their professional association or the organisation which regulates them. It will be easiest if you ask the practitioner or a staff member/volunteer at the clinic where you had your treatment.

Insurance 

All practitioners are insured on a professional indemnity basis with an accredited professional insurance company.  These are usually on block policies run through organisations representing themselves as professional associations.  Again, please ask your practitioner for more information.

How practitioners work 

Our Member Practitioners work within the boundaries of the therapy they practice, and fully engage as a team member working with their client. In addition, they:

·         work at all times within the standards of practice of their voluntary or legislative governing body as appropriate to their skills
·         meet legal requirements regarding safety, hygiene, access, public health and infection control, and any policies of the contracting client site
·         guarantee appropriate client confidentiality and protect client autonomy

Testing the quality of the Member Practitioners

The H Club will contact all Member Practitioners listed on The H Club web-sites on an annual basis to ensure information is up-to-date.  We will also conduct spot checks on organisations, asking for proof that the information supplied is accurate and can be documented.  As a minimum we will ask for proof of qualifications, insurance and professional body membership/regulation for all practitioners who work at the location.

List of Professional/Insuring bodies

Whilst not exhaustive, we have compiled a list of Professional Bodies/Insurers offering block insurance to Member Practitioners.

Membership of a Pforessional Body does not guarantee insurance nor does insurance guarantee quality of training.  Rest assured however, all reasonable steps have been taken by The H Club to ensure that its Member Practitioners, Tutors and Trainers have supplied the best possible credentials available.
